How I gained 300+ leads and over 400 followers without showing my face

I’m an introvert myself, I'm the girl that observes everything and everyone at an outing and will sit in the corner alone sipping my drink. I'm awkward and it takes me a long time to get comfortable and have conversations with others, plus I'm not a small-talk type of girl.

All of that to say that I am not a huge fan of social media and for so long I tried to force myself to get on board and take the advice of other “social media experts” about being comfortable with being uncomfortable. But the truth is, it never felt authentic and always felt forced.

Until I started using other digital marketing methods that did not include showing my face and recording videos of my family, these digital methods still allowed me to connect with my audience, provide so much value, and share my story. There was less pressure to show up a certain way and more ease to truly connect with my audience.

Once I started using these other digital marketing methods, I gained followers daily and over 300+ leads from one post. It was amazing and I haven’t posted another video since.

Before we get into the exact Social media marketing strategies used, let’s get into the basics of Social media marketing.

Here are the exact platforms I used to grow on Social media without showing my face, Each come with Master Resell Rights.

What is Social Media Marketing?

Social media marketing involves using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok to promote products, services, or content.

You do this by sharing valuable, engaging content with your audience, content that helps you build brand awareness, grow your audience, and drive traffic to your website. It’s about creating a digital presence and fostering relationships with your followers.

With so many using Social media to grow their digital business, it’s most important to be authentic with your message and story.

Whether you’re a solopreneur, small business owner, or influencer, social media marketing can help you pivot by reaching a wider audience and connecting with potential customers, all from the comfort of your home.

Content Marketing Vs. Social Media Marketing?

Content marketing and social media marketing are similar but not the same. Content marketing is the creation of valuable, relevant content that helps solve problems for your audience. This could be blog posts, eBooks, videos, images or infographics.

On the other hand, social media marketing focuses on distributing that content on social platforms to engage with users. While content marketing is about providing value, social media marketing is about interacting with your audience where they already are. The two work hand-in-hand, and when combined, they can create a powerful marketing strategy.

Does Social Media Marketing Really Work?

Here’s the tea, Yes! You get to have your content on a social platform where your audience is already spending time engaging on.

Platforms like Instagram and TikTok have millions of active users daily, and these platforms prioritize content that sparks trending topics and an engaging audience that likes, shares, and comments on content they relate to or enjoy.

Growing a following, creating engaging content, and following a well-thought-out social media strategy, can help increase brand awareness, and drive sales.

And as an introvert, you don’t have to be “always on” to make this happen—you just need a smart approach. This includes finding the right social media platform that allows you to connect with your audience without sacrificing your privacy.

How You Can Make Money on Social Media

If you’re wondering how social media marketing can turn into a profitable strategy, there are several ways to monetize:

  1. Affiliate marketing: Share products or services you love, and earn a commission whenever someone purchases through your link.

  2. Selling digital products: Promote your own digital goods, like eBooks, online courses, or templates, directly to your audience.

  3. Sponsored posts: If you’ve built a significant following, brands may pay you to promote their products or services to your audience.

  4. Driving traffic to your website: Use your social platforms to drive traffic to your website, where you can monetize through ads, sales, or email sign-ups.

Introverts can especially benefit from affiliate marketing and digital product sales, as they allow for passive income streams without constant interaction.

Social Media Marketing Examples

To inspire your strategy, here are a few examples of how individuals are killing it with social media marketing that does not include being face forward or constantly on camera.

  • Adam: He grew a large following on Threads within 30 days, which also allowed him to increase his following on Instagram. He takes a different approach to social media, he doesn’t pretend to fit in instead he goes against the grain and his content stirs up controversy. This strategy draws in an audience that relates to him and therefore builds both trust and confidence in his offers.

  • Amanda Lynn: She started using other social media platforms to grow her digital business but noticed she received the most engagement on Facebook. So, she decided to pour her efforts on a platform that no one was talking about. Now she makes over 5 figures a month, using a specific strategy that helped her and others make consistent sales on Facebook.

  • Polly Clover: Is a blogger who also used Instagram to grow her business but so more engagement through organic search. She no longer relies on IG to grow her small business and instead sees consistent results through her blog.

These examples show the possibility of growing a successful business without needing to be on camera every day. The key is to use a platform where your target audience actively engages and shares content that resonates with them through storytelling, educating, or sharing behind-the-scenes insights, all while remaining authentic to who you are!

Social Media Marketing for Introverts

So, how can you use social media without creating content that shows your face or invades your private day-to-day life?

Here’s where introverts shine! The key to social media marketing as an introvert is working smarter, not harder. You don’t have to be constantly engaging or making head-talking videos to grow. Instead, focus on building a strategy that works for your strengths:

  1. Text Only Social Media Platforms: Engage with your audience through apps that only require text-written content to grow. This includes, X previously known as Twitter, LinkedIn and Threads.

Threads in a newer platform, which is great for quick growth and a more engaged audience. I grew on threads 10x quicker than I did on Instagram. The best time to join Threads is now as so many have yet to use the platform to its fullest potential. Grab the exact strategy I used to grow a larger more engaging audience on Threads.

  2. Group Promoting Content: Using your content to engage with a specific audience that aligns with your niche, messaging, and story. Facebook groups and Reddit are great platforms for group promoting content.

Facebook has an audience of over 3 billion active users but not many are using Facebook to market their business. That’s because the secret is in the Facebook Groups. I gained over 200+ leads from one post on a Facebook group, it was shocking! It's all about joining the right groups and posting content that resonates with the members. Here’s how I gained a large amount of leads on Facebook from one post.

  3. Search Engine Platforms: One of the best ways to reach your target audience is by using a search engine platform. You don’t have to go looking for people who share the same interest or niche as you, instead your target audience comes looking for you. You can do this on Pinterest, YouTube, or through blogging.

The best part about using a search engine platform is how your content will continue to see engagement, for days, months, and even years after your content is posted. On Pinterest alone, I had over 8,000 outbound clicks from one Pin I posted 2 years ago, and see clicks even today. That’s the power of a search engine platform. This was done by using a specific Pinterest keyword strategy, that helped me rank at the top of search.

Pinterest is a goldmine. It’s a search engine, not a social media platform, so users go there to find ideas, solutions, and products. You don’t need to constantly engage to see results.

Honestly, that what I love most about it!
